The Consortium

Agri Piacenza Latte is an agricultural society from Piacenza.

Our "richness" is in our members, over 100 milk producers across the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Lombardia, Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Piemonte.

Every day we manage and market more than 5,000 tons of our producers’ milk.

Our milk is mainly used for the production of Grana Padano, Bianco d'Italia, Parmigiano Reggiano, Provolone, drinking milk and fresh cheese.

About 10% of the milk is used directly to produce cheese in our own dairy production facility located on the outskirts of Piacenza.

We have developed a sanitary self-control system according to the HACCP method, in accordance with the new "Hygiene Package" regulations that allows and provides the continuous monitoring of the hygienic and qualitative milk characteristics, from the collection from production companies, through to transportation, up to the delivery point to the processing plants.

With this in mind, we exercise consistently effective control of the production chain, starting from the cows’ diet, to the product marketing.

In 2014 we created our "flagship", the Bianco d'Italia, a cheese made with selected milk from our consortium and aged with care and skill.
